If you are a classic car enthusiast, you may want to consider treating yourself to another vehicle with the festive season approaching. If that is the case, you may wish to get along to Barons Annual Christmas Classic auction that takes place at Sandown Park Racecourse on the 10th December 2019 where there are numerous classic vehicles available.
For instance, how about an open-topped 1977 MGB Roadster that has a guide price of £6,500 to £9,000. This delightful looking sports car in Blaze Red is said to have 114,700 miles on the clock and has an MOT until 10 June 2020. The vehicle is said to have been recommissioned.
If you fancy something a little different, why not cast your eyes over a green 1954 Austin A40 Devon Pick Up with a guide price of £13,000 to £17,000. It is even sign written and is said by the owner to be in an outstanding condition. It has red leather seating.
Those of you who are fans of the Mini may want to look over a 1961 Austin Seven Mini that has a guide price of £11,000 to £13,000. It has an MOT until 12 February 2020. It is said to have 105,000 miles on the clock and its bodywork is done in Farina Grey. Apparently, in the last 15 years, it is said that the car has only been driven about 150 miles. It has an 848cc engine which had a top speed of 72mph.
If you have a larger bank balance, you may wish to spend some time perusing a gold 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250 SL Pagoda that has a guide price of £60,000 to £80,000. It is said that this car is rare as they were only built for a year. It is also worth noting that, apparently, some £50,000 has been spent on work carried out on this classic hard-topped sports car.
Again, if you are looking for something a little different there is a rare green 1951 Land Rover Series 1 80 that is being offered for sale with a guide price of £11,000 to £15,000. It has a removable canvas. It can be driven in both 2 wheel or 4 wheel. The engine has been changed to n Isuzu 1.7td that is said to be more reliable.
Jaguar lovers may want to glance over a light golden sand coloured 1967 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 Roadster that has a guide price of £80,000 to £95,000. It has an MOT until February 2020. It has a 3,8 litre reconditioned engine and has had some £60,000 spent on the full restoration of the vehicle. This classic sports car will no doubt catch the attention of many passers by.
