Many classic car enthusiasts from the UK and around the world are likely to make for Olympia in London to attend RM Sotheby’s London auction of classic cars. There are a number of interesting vehicles being offered for sale across a range of estimated prices some of which we mention below.
Fans of Jaguar cars may like to take a look at a black 1967 Jaguar Mark 2 3.8 Saloon that has an estimated price of £50,000 to £70,000. It has red leather seats and is said to have been well looked after. When new, this 3.8 model was capable of getting from 0 to 60mph in a mere 8.5 seconds with a top speed of 125mph.
A two door, red 1988 Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC is available to buy with an estimated price of £20,000 to £30,000. It has light grey leather seats and is said to be in excellent condition. It has less than 60,000 kilometres on the clock.
Porsche car lovers will no doubt wish to cast their eyes over a two seater soft topped 1961 Porsche 356 B Super 90 Cabriolet by Reutter that has an estimated sale price of £110,000 to £150,000. This particular classic vehicle has been fully restored. It has a black leather interior and is left hand drive. Imagine taking this beautiful looking sports car out for a spin in the English countryside on a warm, sunny afternoon.
If you have a larger budget then why not give some thought to a 1961 Ferrari 250 GTE 2 + 2 series 1 by Pininfarina. It has an estimated sale price of £325,000 to £375,000. It has been subject to a full restoration between 2016 and 2018 and its original engine has been rebuilt at a significant cost.
What about a 1970 Aston Martin DB6 Mk 2 that is being offered for sale with an estimated price of £250,000 to £300,000. It has had the same owner for more than 30 years. It has a mere 28,275 miles on the clock. Its bodywork is in metallic Tudor Green paint.
