For all you classic car enthusiasts wandering what to do over the next bank holiday weekend you really should consider visiting the delightful Ragley Hall to attend the huge classic car show.
Ragley Hall is situated in beautiful Warwickshire countryside not too far from the likes of Redditch, Droitwich, Stratford upon Avon and Worcester. Being in the centre of England it is very accessible from most parts of the United Kingdom.
The classic car event runs over the two day May bank holiday weekend on the 26 and 27th May 2013. There will be classic cars from as far back as the 1920s on display.
This is a particularly large show with in excess of 800 vehicles on display. Included in this number will be a range of vehicles including military vehicles, commercial vehicles, kit cars and, of course, classic cars.
More specifically, you will be able to cast your eyes over the likes of Jaguar, Mercedes, Daimler, Rover, Humber, Hillman, MGs, Wolseley, Austin 7, Ford T and Rolls Royce.
To add to the occasion, you will be able to look at more than twenty seven stands occupied by car clubs including the Austin Ten Drivers Club, Riley, TR Drivers, Stag Owners, Mercedes Benz, Metropolitan, Jaguar and Lotus. You will also be able to witness a display by the Malvern Kit Car Club that sound really interesting.
You will thoroughly enjoy an exiting display by the Piston Ring Youth Motorcycle Display Team whose participants are aged between 10 to 16 years.
Admission is from 10 am with tickets costing £10 for adults and £5 for children. Your ticket also gives you access to the hall, gardens, woodland walk, a lakeside picnic area, adventure playground and of course the show.
Let us hope that the weather is kind to us. Bring along the whole family and enjoy the show.
