Mathewsons are to auction some interesting classic cars on Friday 23rd April 2021 and Saturday 24th April 2021 so we thought we would mention just some of the vehicles that can be purchased. Full details can be found on their website.
A 1968 Morris Minor Traveller is being offered for sale with a guide price of £6,000. It has obviously been well used as it has 97,099 miles on the clock. It has a 1,098cc engine. It appears to have been well looked after.
If you have a slightly bigger budget then why not take a look at a 1953 MG TD. It has a guide price of £13,000 to £15,000. This open-topped two-seater sports car has a 1,250cc engine. If you fancy a run out on a sunny afternoon then this may be the classic car for you.
If you are looking for a family saloon then you may like to cast your eyes over a 1961 Sunbeam Rapier 3A with 18,738 miles on the clock. It has a guide price of £5,000. Apparently, the engine has been rebuilt. The bodywork is in Pearl Grey and Pippin Red.
If you fancy a classic car that will catch the eye of many a passer-by then perhaps you might light to peruse a 1929 Austin 12/4 Burnham Saloon. This vintage vehicle has red leather seating. It has a guide price of £10,000 and is said to have 35,000 miles on the clock making it a low mileage for its age.
Those of you who are looking for something a little different may wish to consider a 1952 Ford F3 V8 Pickup. Apparently, the current owner purchased it from someone in Canada and is the “5 Star Cab” option that makes it quite rare. It is said to have around 61,500 miles on the clock. It has a guide price of £12,500 to £14,500.
It is great to see a blue soft-topped two-seater 1978 MG Midget in the auction. This one has a guide price of £2,500 so may appeal to those classic car enthusiasts with a more modest budget. If you like to drive with the wind rushing through your hair then this may be the sports car for you.
A 1961 Wolseley 1500 four-door saloon is being offered for sale with a guide price of £6,000. It is said to only have 39,000 miles on the clock making it a very low mileage. It appears to have been well cared for and is said to have the original interior.
