Classic car enthusiasts may be interested to read about Classic Car Auctions March 2020 sale of such vehicles that is due to take place commencing on the 28th March 2020. This will be the first time that the auctioneers have held such a sale behind closed doors with this being due to the Coronavirus.
In addition, it will be a timed auction meaning that there will be ten vehicles available to bid on from 7am to 7pm. Unfortunately, you will not be able to see the cars “in the flesh” but the auctioneers say that they will provide more video content. How about a 1993 Mercedes-Benz 500E that is being offered for sale with n estimated sale price of £18,000 to £22,000. The present owner is the actor Rowan Atkinson so this may well have a bearing on the price. It has a 5 litre engine that is capable of getting from 0 to 62mph in a mere 5.5 seconds and has a top speed of 161mph. Its bodywork is in Nautic Blue and it is left hand drive.
A 1976 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow 1 that was once owned by the pop star Jay Kay has an estimated sale price of £27,000 to £32,000. Its bodywork is in Rolls-Royce Black Emerald Metallic. It is said to only have 42,000 miles on the clock. Presumably, the fact that it was owned by the above gentleman may have a bearing on its price.
You may like to take a look at a 1948 Jaguar 1.5 litre MK 1V that is being offered for sale with an estimated price of £20,000 to £25,000. This car has been owned by the same person for 70 years which we are sure you will agree is a very long time.
It is said to only have 17,200 miles on the clock meaning that it has extremely low mileage. It was restored in 2004.
Those of you who are interested in an open-topped sports car may like to cast your eyes over a fantastic looking 1974 Triumph TR6. It has an estimated sale price of £20,000 to £24,000. Its bodywork is in Pimento Red. It was restored in 2017.The engine has been rebuilt.
If you have a bigger bank balance, you may like to peruse a 1951 Jaguar XK120 3.4 Roadster that has an estimated sale price of £55,000 to £65,000. It has been owned by the same person for the last 22 years. Its bodywork is in silver and it has lovely looking red leather seats. This delightful looking car will no doubt catch the eye of many a passer by.
