You will need to be quick if you want to participate in Brightwells Timed Online Auction of Classic Cars as bidding opens at 10am on 13th February 2021 and closes from 7pm on 18th February 2021. You can view all the lots on the auctioneer’s website but we thought we would highlight some of them below.
If you fancy a two-seater sports car then why not take a look at a classic 1967 MGB GT Mk1 that has an estimated sale price of between £3,000 to £4,000. Apparently, this vehicle has not been used for a few years and is in need of some work so will appeal to a classic car restorer.
Why not have a look at a four door 1958 Ford Prefect 100E that has an estimated sale price of between £4,000 to £6,000. It has 78,509 miles on the clock. It is said to have been restored and it really does look lovely with a light blue and white bodywork complimented by blue leather seats. In 2017 it won an award “Best Standard E” at the E’s at the Ace meeting.
If you have more money to spend then why not peruse a 1963 Jaguar Mk 11 3.8 Auto that has an estimated sale price of between £18,500 to £19,500. Its bodywork is in Carmen Red. It has only had two registered keepers. It is left hand drive having been brought over from the USA.
Sports car fans may like to look at a white 1979 Triumph TR7 Coupe that has an estimated sale price of between £3,500 to £4,500. It had spent 10 years in storage before being restored in 2015/2016. It has an MOT until October 2021 although is said to be MOT exempt. It has just over 100,000 miles on the clock.
Take a look at a 1972 Mercedes-Benz 350SL that has an estimated sale price of between £3,250 to £3,750. It has had 5 owners. It is in need of some tender loving care but this is presumably a reflection of the estimated sale price.
If you fancy something a little different then why not consider a 1971 Volkswagen T2 Westfalia Camper that has an estimated sale price of £12,500 to £14,500. This campervan comes equipped with its original fixtures and fittings enabling you to enjoy a much needed holiday once the pandemic is over. The MOT runs until November 2021. Its coachwork is a combination of Marina Blue and Pastel White.
If you do decide to purchase a classic car at the above auction you will no doubt wish to make sure that it is suitably insured. In this respect, why not contact us with a view to arranging a no-obligation competitive quotation.
