Christmas will soon be upon us and classic car owners may be interested to read that Barons Annual Christmas Classic Car Auction is to take place at Sandown Park Racecourse at 1pm on the 15th December 2020 with viewing available on Monday 14th December from 3pm to 7pm and again on the 15th December from 9am to 1pm. There are some interesting vehicles being offered for sale that you can find details of on the auctioneer’s website but we thought that we would mention some of them below.
What about a 1969 Citroen DS 20 Decapotable that has a guide price of £28,000 to £35,000. Only 1,365 of these two door convertibles were sold between 1960 and 1971. It was brought to the UK in 1998 and has had three owners in the UK. It is said to have had a significant amount spent on it in recent years including a bare metal respray in 2014.
How about a 1960 Jaguar MK 11 3.3 Automatic that has a guide price of £19,000 to £23,000. Its bodywork is painted in Carmen Red. The leather interior is red. It is said to have a mere 6,000 miles on the clock. It is believed to have only had two owners with the last person owing the vehicle from 1992 to 2020.
If you fancy a sporty looking Jaguar then you may like to consider a red, left hand drive 1968 Jaguar E-Type Series 1.5 Roadster LHD that has a guide price of £45,000 to £55,000. Apparently it is in need of some restoration.
There is a green 1975 MG B GT Jubilee that is being offered for sale with a guide price of £4,000 to £5,000. It is said to have 53,000 miles on the clock. It is said to have been well maintained in recent years. It has an MOT up to August 2021.
Why not cast your eyes over a red 1969 MORRIS Minor 1000 Factory Convertible that has a guide price of £6,000 to £8,000. It has been in the same ownership for 13 years and it is said to have 96,000 miles on the clock. It is said to have quite a bit of work done to it around 3 years ago.
If we have whetted your appetite then why not get along to the event and see if you can purchase a classic car to be proud of or one that needs some restoration work carrying out to restore the vehicle to its former glory. We will be pleased to help arrange a competitive quote to insure your classic car.
