A lot of people assume that you have to spend tens of thousands of pounds or more when purchasing a classic car but this is just not the case. Yes, of course as with most things in life, you get what you pay for when it comes to buying a classic vehicle.

In this respect, why not take a look at the website of Mathewsons that auctions classic vehicles and you will see that there are a number of classic cars coming up for sale at an online auction on the 17th and 18th March 2023. Below we mention just a few of the vehicles in question.

If you are attracted to sports cars then why not glance over a 1976 MG B that comes with an estimated sale price of between £3,800 to £4,800. It appears to be a lovely looking vehicle and will no doubt catch the eye of many a passer by. Imagine driving this classic sports car along the country roads on a warm day in the summer with the roof down.

If you fancy something a little more sedate then perhaps a blue 1929 Citroen AC4 may appeal. It has an estimated sale price of between £7,500 to £9,000. Maybe this will be used for a quiet jaunt to the shops occasionally.

Along similar lines is a 1939 Morris 8 that has an even lower estimated sale price of between £4,000 to £5,000. This has a 795cc engine that may mean it is quite economical as far as fuel consumption is concerned. Its bodywork is in burgundy and black and it has red leather seats.

A 1969 Riley Kestrel 1300 comes with an estimated sale price of between £6,500 to £7,500. It has a 1275cc engine. It has blue bodywork as well as blue leather seats and a sunroof. The wooden door trims do add to the look of the interior.

It is also worth noting that a considerable number of memorabilia pieces are being auctioned as well.
